Please remember that homework comes home on Monday and will be due the following Monday. Be sure to send the poem back so we can put them in our fluency folders. Remember, time spent reading the poem can count as reading minutes on your child's reading log. Also, all students need to master the first 25 sight words by the end of the quarter, so please be sure to work on those at home, as well. As always, first graders need to read sixty minutes a week.
Next week, your child will be coming home with unit one's math test. Please take time to look over this with your child to see what he/she missed. Please work on any skills missed with your child at home.
Your child will be coming home with a midterm today. Please take a moment to look it over, cut off the bottom, sign and return it.
If you would like to order from Scholastic, you can follow the link to the right of this post to get to our class page. There will be a paper flyer coming home today with our class code on it, as well.
